IT Manager
Job Duties and Information:

• Directly supervises employees in the IT Department.
• Manages and develops tactical plans for the IT Department, including providing direction in types of software, hardware and network systems to install.
• Supervises feasibility studies for system improvement and the preparation of system project proposals.
• Tracks status of all IT infrastructure projects and updates schedules.
• Assists with development and administration of department budget.
• Performs role of project leader for changes to the IT infrastructure.
• Tracks compliance to IT related company policies.
• Presents proposed system projects to management and manages implementation.
• Manages and negotiates with vendors for supplies and services.

Education/Skills/Experience required:

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
• Five (5) years recent experience managing an IT organization
• Strong Microsoft desktop and server and TCP/IP networking experience
