Maintenance Mechanic
2nd and 3rd shift positions available

2nd Shift (2:00 pm – 10:35 pm)
3rd Shift (10:00 pm – 6:35 am)
Job Duties and Information:

• Troubleshoots and repairs electrical, processing and packaging equipment.
• Diagnoses and repairs conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, and hydraulic and pneumatic devices.
• Accurately reads and interprets schematics and blueprints.
• Initiates purchase request for replacement parts.
• Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, welders, and other metal working devices.
• All of the above duties and responsibilities will be performed in a safe, efficient and professional manner while placating all GMP's and working with limited supervision.

Education/Skills/Experience required:

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three (3) to five (5) years paid work experience at the Journeyman Mechanic level. Must weld. Sheet metal shop and installation experience preferred.
