Maintenance Mechanic, 3rd shift
Job Duties and Information:

• Performs daily inspections and preventative maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Familiar with computer controls
• Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to detect malfunctions and works with supervision and other maintenance personnel to diagnose and repair the machine.
• Repairs, maintains and paints physical structure of the plant and machinery.
• Repairs or replaces defective parts.
• Installs special functional and structural parts and devices.
• Lubricates and cleans parts.
• Sets up and operates machine tools such as a lathe, drill press, grinder, milling machine and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
• Repairs counters, benches, partitions and other wooden structures.
• Cleans up work area entirely after the performance of duties.

Education/Skills/Experience required:

• One year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
