Purchasing Coordinator
Job Duties and Information:

  • Under the direction of the Purchasing Manager and/or the Director of Global Procurement, this position is responsible for all day-to-day purchasing requirements involving all raw materials, packaging supplies, and non-food retail items.
  • Coordinates co-packing projects in the U.S. and abroad
  • Responsible for special projects that involve new product support and introduction to the marketplace
  • Expedites and monitors orders, coordinates with Marketing and other departments as needed, provides status updates and usage reports

Education/Skills/Experience required:

  • The ideal candidate will have an A.A. degree and a minimum of 3 to 5 years purchasing experience in the food-manufacturing industry, or the equivalent of education and experience.
  • Experience utilizing enterprise resource or warehouse management systems preferred
